Who are we?

We are a non-profit organization that helps people in need.

Founded in 1983 by a group of citizens, the organization has grown throughout the years with the acquisition of the building of the former Quincaillerie Faubert (formerly Rona), at 3, rue Principale in Châteauguay.

Our goals and direction

For purely social purposes and without pecuniary gain to its members, we administer a ressource center, action center, education, and information troubleshooting for any person or family.

Promote family autonomy.

Provide training activities.
Breaking the feeling of isolation by innovative activities.

Our Goals

Recruit new members and new volunteers.
Encourage and promote the involvement of caring people.
Help ensure the financial health of the organization with fund raising activities, gifts and money, grant activities, also accepting donations of clothing and household items, or other .....
Helping people to work at developing a degree of autonomy by social integration with help of government programs.

Our specific objectives

Provide a meeting place for formal and informal gatherings in order to support collaborative efforts for individuals and groups.

Develop more concerted and appropriate strategies and interventions with stakeholders in order to improve the quality of life for citizens.

Administer resources to help families, recycling family waste materials while raising population awareness about the sound management of waste.

The corporation may receive gifts, bequests, government grants, rental income.
